Dr. József Zavodnyik worked for the Insurance Supervisory Authority between 1991 and 2001, then for the Hungarian Competition Authority between 2001 and 2014. From 2001 to 2011 he was a member of the Competition Council.
Between 2014 and 2016, he was the Head of the Department of Competition Law, Consumer Protection and Intellectual Property Law of the Ministry of Justice.
He has been an attorney since 2016, regularly involved in competition supervision proceedings, as well as publishing and teaching regularly in the fields of competition law, insurance law and data protection.
